Les giclures de la peinture cr\u00e9ent l\u2019illusion d\u2019une branche, sugg\u00e8rent une direction. Cette empreinte est agrandie en 6 \u00e9tapes successives \u00e0 l\u2019aide d\u2019un photocopieur.<br \/>\nL\u2019ensemble n\u2019est pas m\u00e9caniquement agrandi; certaines giclures sont \u00e9limin\u00e9es, des r\u00e9serves sont cr\u00e9\u00e9es sur le tronc sur l\u2019un des agrandissements. Le tirage final r\u00e9sulte de la superposition de 3 passages qui cr\u00e9ent ainsi des zones plus ou moins denses et des effets de mati\u00e8re. Interaction entre ma\u00eetrise et hasard, structure et gestualit\u00e9, ajout et retrait. Interrogation sur le r\u00e9el : l\u2019arbre dans sa repr\u00e9sentation par sa taille et sa surface est plus pr\u00e9sent, plus vrai que le motif de d\u00e9part pourtant trace de quelque chose qui a exist\u00e9.<\/p>\n<p>Totem de la contradiction : ascension, jaillissement interne et simultan\u00e9ment pr\u00e9sence de la mort. Totem de l\u2019ambigu\u00eft\u00e9 : la verticalit\u00e9 de l\u2019arbre n\u2019est que relative.
